Who Runs This Guide
This site is an editorial desk, not a personality. There is no named author, no byline and no claimed residency. The work behind every page is research and reporting: reading the operators' own listings, official venue and agency sources and live public data, then writing plain comparisons from what those sources actually say. Nobody here claims to have taken the tours, kayaked the caves or eaten the fish tacos. What you get instead is a desk that checks figures against the record and says so when a number cannot be confirmed.
How the Numbers Are Checked
Every rating, review count and duration shown here is the booking platform's own published figure, pulled single-locale at build so the numbers all describe one market. Each product was read twice by separate passes before it was allowed onto the site, and the two passes disagreed on none of them. One listing carries no reviews at all and is shown that way, because a real zero is information and a made-up rating is not. Ratings on one platform are read from the product model rather than from its page markup, which rounds to the nearest half star and would have published nine wrong figures.
What This Site Will Not Tell You
No invented figures, ever. If a price, a rating or an admission fee cannot be read and confirmed, the page says nothing rather than filling the gap. Birch Aquarium's hours are confirmed here and its admission prices are not, so you will not find a price for it. The same goes for senior and student rates at the USS Midway, which the museum's own page does not list. Balboa Park's free Tuesdays are a residency benefit and are never presented as a visitor perk. Parking gets honest advice and no link, because nobody pays a commission on a parking space. When something is unknown, it stays unknown.
How This Site Earns
Bookings made through links here may earn the site a payment from the provider, at no extra cost to the reader.
